i need to return sy's book. you know there is this story. of someone. a tyrant. one day he walked into church. thinking of playing a joke on the pastor. but there the spirit convicted him of his sins. and he was the first to rush to the front at altar call. When i read i was like. whoa.

another touching scene was when he met someone whose family members. were deeply hurt. and. he used to be those tyrants ... he was struck by the hurt he have caused in the past. The grief that deeply overwhelmed, and the gratitude that comes with understanding of forgiveness and mercy. It was a rather touching read.

the vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from jesus a pardon receives

(this line from this song always makes me marvel at grace)

And well, you know his wife married him out of fear more than anything.  (its scary to think of how the societies of some people living in are) So really thank God this husband came to Christ and became totally transformed. From there on she fell in love with him, the new him. So drama, but this is a true story.

the husband died (i can't remember details, I think he was killed by his past tyrant gang ...and he did not leave the house without his gospel tracts and his bible) . Then  his wife, when asked if she needs anything, requested for bibles to be distributed. that she may carry on what this former tyrant has committed his life to after knowing Christ. She wanted to carry on distributing bibles to the very people who have killed her husband.

the person who penned this account of this couple put it this way: those who have been forgiven much, forgives much.

just penning it here. who knows. one day it may encourage me again :)
